Head of the Scientific Center «Archeology and еthnography»

Main tasks:
1. Organization and implementation of fundamental and applied research in promising areas of archaeology and ethnography;
2. Establishing contacts and developing cooperation with leading foreign and domestic research organizations in the field of archeology, ethnography, anthropology, and history;
3. Attraction of extra-budgetary funds for the implementation of research projects;
4. Scientific and methodological support of the educational process according to specialized educational programs.

Main functions:
1. Carrying out and organization of archaeological work and research archaeological exploration, topographic surveys, geophysical work, excavation and processing of archaeological materials;
2. Participation in competitions for international programs, research projects funded by republican and local budgets;
3. Provision of scientific, methodological, and consulting services to specialized departments and laboratories;
4. Conducting examinations of research projects and works submitted by teachers and students at scientific competitions;
5. Organization of research work of teaching staff and students;
6. Organization and coordination of educational and methodological activities in the scientific direction of the center: scientific seminars, conferences, exhibitions, etc.;
7. Preparation of the necessary materials on the Center for the meeting of the Academic Council of the University;
8. Organization of seminars and internships to improve the skills of workers in the sphere of culture and other institutions (museum, scientific consultants, specialists of the inspection of the protection of historical and cultural sites, etc.);
9. Preparation for publication of the results of scientific research;
10. Exposition in the exhibition hall of the Center of the exhibits found during excavations after laboratory processing;
11. Systematic publication of scientific articles in international peer-reviewed publications, in the Bulletin of Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata;
12. Regular posting of information about the current activities of the Center (news, events, events) on the university website on social networks.
